Change is possible and you don’t have to do it alone.

Hey I’m Antoinette, or Ant, and I specialize in the ways attachment and trauma impact relational dynamics. Whether it’s the relationship you have with yourself, your partner(s), your kids, your family, or the world around you - I help you dig deep into your history and your patterns so that you can heal what needs healing and change what needs changing.

I work with individuals in therapy to identify the problematic thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that stem from our oldest and deepest attachment wounds. I help my individual clients develop self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-worth by deconstructing and rebuilding their sense of self. I specialize in trauma informed approaches to working with anxiety and depression in the LGBTQ+ community and have extensive experience working with the effects of religious trauma and discrimination.

I work with couples and ENM partnerships from an attachment perspective - helping partners identify the patterns that are rooted in attachment wounds and unmet attachment needs. I help partners communicate in a deeper, more attuned way to promote closeness, understanding, and intimacy. I am especially skilled at supporting partnerships that are struggling with the effects of discrimination due to their LGBTQ+ identities and/or ENM relationship structure.

I also love working with families who are struggling to understand one another and deeply desire to move through their conflict with a greater sense of connection. I work with parents and their tweens/teens as well as adult families, blended families, ENM families, queer families, and multiple generations together. My background is in family therapy and I use a blend of family systems theory and attachment based approaches.

I identify as a queer therapist and my specialty is working with trauma and attachment in the LGBTQ+ community. I am originally from the East Coast but prefer the sunny weather of San Diego. Living my most authentic life looks like trying a new coffee shop, being in nature, hiking, practicing hot yoga, and exploring with my girlfriend and our dogs.
